Then it was back down to town to our rooms. The next morning we meet for breakfast.

After breakfast we were off on our first official ride. Bryce National Park. You can see Ted Bell here. Is that a smile on his face?

It’s only minutes before you leave town and head into rock canyons.

Here is DanEBoy with Ted Bell riding tail gunner.

The road gently winds up through the valley.

Once we reached the summit the view was outstanding!

It wasn’t long before I received a peek of what was to come.

You could see the excitement of everyone’s face.

There is nothing better than a happy group of riders on a great road.

Bryce is a very different place. The dirt is this orange-brown color. So the ride quickly became a photo shoot.

Ride a mile or two, then stop to take pictures. Ummm, is that a path? Anyone crazy enough to walk out there?

Oh yea, they’re a couple in every group. That’s Ted Bell and Warren out there.

This gives you an idea out far out they had to walk.

Then back on the road.

Did I tell you Warren likes to lead?

This is red canyon leading into the park.

Hard not to stop around every turn.

This whole area is part of Dixie Nt Forrest.

Ride, stop….pictures….

Nice arch! It jumps out at you as you come around a turn.

From the other side.

It’s through the Gate and we have to stop to get stuff! You know, pens, patches, gifts from the Park store.

This is Patty and you have to give her credit. She had what appeared to be a broken foot so getting off and on the bike was very difficult. She spends most of her time sitting on the bike and she never complained once. Oh doesn’t she look great in that jacket?

After we pack up our gifts we were off to the canyon.

Back on the road.

Stop, pictures…

I couldn’t get enough of all this eye candy, but I think some were growing tired of the views.

How can you not like this?

Here is Boulvdozer and Patty taking in the sites. Doesn’t Patty look great in that jacket?

Let’s hit the road.

Another arch.

Hiway Thunder was leading this ride with Warren right behind him. Did you know Warren likes to lead?

We headed back to the rooms to clean up and rest a bit, then it was Chinese for dinner. After dinner we went over to this club for some karoke and drinks. Ronnie was the only one brave enough to sing. He was really good also!

We didn’t stay long before we went back to the rooms. It was also the first night of the man table. A few of us got some beer and cigars and discuss life with mentioning Religion, politics. Works out pretty well. I think we ought to make this a tradition also. Everyone walks away from this learning something new. What did I learn? Utah has secrets!

Breakfast was planned for the next morning be things became scattered. Here is Ted Bell on bike watch.

At first I though Warren was handing out drugs but as I got closer I could see he was trying to fix his gas cap. It seemed like everyone had advice.

A trip to the hardware store and a hour later we hit the road.

Today’s trip is to Zion National Park. We first head up Kolob Carqua Road, part of Zion I think. This is a wonder canyon with sheer cliff walls.

We have several more riders on today’s trip. Dandee had several local friends join us. Including the famous Officer Charlie.
