As soon as Dandee guided us onto the freeway this purple (they call it burple) honda VTX 1800 broke away from the pack and sped ahead of us. This was Officer Charlie. Officer Charlie is a retired motorcycle policeman who loves to ride and rides like he owns the road. He was doing about 90 mph and quickly pulling away from the group. When he got about a half mile ahead of us I got this urge to catch him. You know your mind is thinking that just once it would be nice to catch a cop instead of them catching you. So off I went. I was clocking 120 mph and it only took minutes to catch him. I pulled up along side of him and took his picture. Officer Charlie was very fun to ride with.
